These two orchids have been recouping. One had a bite from a cat, but both plants were in distress due to lack of care from my neighbor, which after they finish blooming she discards them. One day she offered them to me and I gladly accepted them. One can see the bite on the mini one and 3 new leaves since a few months ago. The larger one also has 2 new leaves and a very long root. I can also see a new shoot coming out from the base of the plant.

My Roses & Orquids

This year the rose bushes are beaming with buds, so can't refrain from cutting some from every bush to decorate my house. Also, the Poinsettia is doing great, and will stay in my dinning room until it needs to be planted outside. The orchids are from a discarded plant from my neighbor, as soon as the ones she purchases losses all the blooms she offers them to me, sad looking and so dry. I get them, nurse them, feed them, and look what I got! I do not give them back to her. I have two other that I am nursing back to health.

It has been a while since I last posted something, but I have been busy working on the Shakespeare Trevelyon cap project. As you can see it is a beautiful 5" night cap worn by the men in those days. Pretty uncomfortable I must say, but lovely.
